Founder and CEO — Maya Woods-Cadiz
With more than two decades of proven results in education, Maya Woods-Cadiz brings the expertise, strategy, and track record that schools and organizations need to thrive. She has held leadership roles in independent schools, charter schools, and traditional public schools, giving her a rare perspective across the full spectrum of education. As a former superintendent, she doubled enrollment, expanded campuses, maintained a 100% college acceptance rate, and secured approval for every charter renewal she submitted, outcomes that few leaders can claim.
She is trained as a Chief Business Officer (CBO), holds a doctoral degree in Transformational Leadership, and has advanced executive training from Harvard Business School and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. This blend of academic insight and real-world leadership equips her to solve complex problems, anticipate authorizer demands, and guide boards and leaders through their toughest challenges.

Novus Mundus 360 was born from both vision and necessity. Our founder witnessed what too many schools, boards, and leaders face every day: passionate educators with big dreams for students, but weighed down by compliance demands, governance struggles, financial pressures, and political barriers. Schools often have the will to succeed, but not always the systems, strategies, or trusted partners to help them thrive.
That is why Novus Mundus 360 exists.
We believe that when leaders are supported, boards are well-trained, and schools are equipped with clarity and strategy, students thrive. Our mission is to remove obstacles so that educators can focus on what matters most—teaching, learning, and building futures.
The name Novus Mundus means “New World.” It reflects our commitment to helping schools reimagine what’s possible. The 360 represents our holistic approach: we see the whole picture, governance, compliance, leadership, finance, and culture—and align these pieces to build strong, sustainable schools.
Our story is rooted in both experience and belief. After more than a decade leading a high-performing charter school system, doubling enrollment, achieving multiple renewals, and maintaining a 100% college acceptance rate, our founder understood that lasting impact comes not from short-term fixes, but from equipping leaders and boards with the tools and confidence to lead with integrity.
